Amcor LLC is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator Packaging to perform repetitive production and packing operations for plastic bottles. The role requires adhering to safety policies, operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves following production schedules, inputting data, and ensuring accurate labeling and packaging of finished goods.

Formación

• High school diploma or general education degree; or 1–3 months related experience or training; ability to perform basic math and use a computer.
• Must be able to read and speak simple sentences, communicate effectively, and follow written/spoken instructions.
• The role requires moderate physical demands including lifting and standing for long periods; comfortable in varying temperatures.

Responsabilidades

• Follows safety policies and procedures; wears PPE as directed.
• Completes required levels of training in compliance, team skills, technical training, and helps train coworkers.
• Performs routine production functions to operate equipment to meet customer specs; works at different stations as needed.
• Works from a production schedule located within the work area.
• Monitors product flow into processing machinery; troubleshoots and assists in adjustments/repairs; stages packaging materials.
• Inputs data on computer terminals to produce, label and package finished product.
• Replenishes supplies for the assigned area; performs housekeeping and clean up duties.
• Initiates and follows SOPs and JSA’s for the area.
• Conducts quality inspections of in-process and finished product to ensure specs are met.
• Performs other assignments as directed by management.
• Adheres to environmental and safety policies.
