Job summary

Amcor is seeking a diligent Machine Operator at our Texas facility to perform repetitive production and packing operations for mass-produced plastic bottles, following a schedule and safety rules.

You will monitor product flow, tend equipment, observe quality, and work across stations as lines vary. The role requires stamina for long shifts and adherence to HACCP/GMP guidelines; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Works from a production schedule located within the work area.
• Randomly checks product produced every hour to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Monitors flow of product into processing machinery and tends machines to maintain product flow.
• Works at different stations as production needs require and handles lines with varying shapes/sizes.
• Checks finished product for defects and adheres to safety and GMP/HACCP rules.
• Maintains housekeeping and follows all safety policies, attends monthly shift meetings.
