Job summary

Amcor LLC in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a production team member for night shift to operate and optimize extrusion lines. You will read schedules, manage line setups, and ensure safe, efficient production with minimal scrap.

Training on days may be required; strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are valued, with opportunities for overtime and career growth within a global leader in packaging.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Forklift operation experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Prior experience with extrusion equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to work twelve-hour shifts (nights) and overtime when needed.
• Must be willing to train on days.
• Must be able to read production schedules and BOMs in JDE to keep lines operating efficiently.
• Must be able to start/stop extruders and downstream equipment safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to run up to 3 lines and perform quality checks.
• Must be able to troubleshoot lines and equipment to meet production goals.
• Must communicate effectively with leadership at all times.
• Must be willing to relieve teammates as needed and complete other tasks as instructed.
