Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to design, build, and sustain critical test infrastructure for high‑reliability hardware. You will own test systems end‑to‑end, from planning and fixtures to Python automation on Linux, coordinating with Reliability and Product Quality teams to meet stringent aerospace standards.

You will work across disciplines using Altium and Siemens NX, interfacing with UART/CAN/RS‑485/RS‑232, and driving RCCA in a heavily regulated manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years in hardware test or manufacturing test roles.
• Hands-on with test infrastructure design ( racks, power, DAQs, lab instrumentation).
• Proficient in Python for automated test scripts in Linux/Unix.
• Strong Linux/Unix knowledge with shell/SSH.
• Experience interfacing with embedded hardware protocols (UART, CAN, RS-485/RS-232).
• CAD/EDA tools: Siemens NX, Altium Designer.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing test infrastructure across production lifecycle.
• Develop PLC-integrated station control software (Modbus TCP).
• Create hardware-free simulation environments for tests.
• Write test plans and define acceptance criteria with Reliability/QA teams.
• Design and integrate complete test stations and fixtures.
• Develop automated Python test software for Linux systems.
• Interface test equipment with DUTs via serial protocols.
• Maintain Linux-based test stations and network tooling.
• Collaborate on test fixture design using NX and Altium.
• Perform RCCA on test escapes and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure AS9100/ISO 9001 quality standards for test processes.
• Integrate test stations with MES for traceability.
• Support NPI with DFT and cycle-time optimization.
