Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop and sustain the software that drives our defense hardware testing. You will write production Python and C# code on Linux-based systems, connect with PLCs and laboratory gear, and ensure robust test coverage across production lines.

You will collaborate with hardware and firmware teams during NPIs, deploy test suites, and debug issues on the factory floor while maintaining traceability and data integrity across MES

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience as a Software Manufacturing Test Engineer, or in an equivalent role with an emphasis on software development for hardware test automation.
• Strong proficiency writing production code in Python for software manufacturing test automation, device control, and data handling.
• Working knowledge of C# (.NET) for developing software manufacturing test applications, operator UIs, or system services.
• Strong Linux/Unix systems knowledge, including terminal proficiency, shell scripting, SSH, and network configuration/debugging.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of software manufacturing test activities in production.
• Develop and maintain PLC-integrated station control software over Modbus TCP.
• Build hardware-free simulation environments for regression testing.
• Design, build, and maintain Python and C# test suites.
• Integrate test applications with sensors, DAQs, and power devices.
