Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Manufacturing Test Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the production software that tests complex hardware assemblies on the factory floor. You will bridge low-level hardware control with high-level test automation using Python and C# in Linux/Unix environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years of software manufacturing test experience or equivalent.
• Strong Python production code experience for test automation.
• Proficiency in C# (.NET) for test applications and UIs.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills, including terminal usage and scripting.
• Experience with UART, CAN, RS-485/RS-232 hardware interfaces.
• Experience integrating test platforms with MES and databases using SQL.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork, with ability to work cross-functionally.
• Able to obtain and maintain active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of software manufacturing test activities in production for uptime and throughput.
• Develop PLC‑integrated station control software (Modbus TCP) and keep tag/address indices updated.
• Create hardware-free simulation environments for regression testing.
• Build production test suites in Python for hardware control and in C# for test executives.
• Integrate test applications with sensors, DAQs, power supplies, and vehicle compute hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues on the line and ensure deterministic deployments.
• Log test data, interface with MES and databases to maintain traceability.
• Provide operator interfaces and error handling to assist technicians.
