Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Technician for 1st shift at Ashaway, RI. This full-time, contract-to-hire role involves setup, calibration, rework, quality testing, and assembly of mechanical, electrical, and optical components.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (0–3 years) and IPC J-STD-001 solder certification, with strong computer skills and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
• Currently or previously IPC J-STD-001 solder certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations including set-up and calibration tasks, rework and quality testing for parts and assemblies.
• Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
• Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Proficient in mechanical assembly of complex assemblies (electrical and optical components, harnesses).
• Program assemblies using relevant software and maintain strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Read and interpret engineering work instructions, drawings, or schematics to perform duties accurately.

Position Type: Full time, Contract to Hire

Duration: 12months

Location: Ashaway, RI 02804 (Onsite/1 st Shift)

As aManufacturingTechnicianyou will

• Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
• Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Mechanical Assembly Skills: Proficiency in building complex mechanical assemblies.(electrical and optical assemblies, components, and harnesses)
• Computer Skills: Adept at programming assemblies using relevant software.
• Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Technical Literacy: Proficient to read and interpret engineering work instructions, drawings, or schematics to effectively perform job duties.

Ideal candidate will have

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
• Currently or previously IPC J-STD-001 solder certified.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $21-$23/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
