Innova Solutions is actively seeking an Electronics Assembler for a Bristol, PA location on a 3+ month full-time contract. You will assemble PCBs, cabling and assemblies per engineering drawings using SMT techniques, soldering, and handheld tools within a quality-driven environment.

The ideal candidate holds IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-7711/7721 certifications, a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Certified IPC Specialist J-STD-001 (IPC-610) required.
• Certified IPC Specialist 7711/7721 required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and handle products per engineering and quality procedures.
• Perform program-specific tasks to meet program requirements.
• Assemble PCBs from drawings using SMT, soldering irons and microscope.
• Cut wires to specified lengths with wire cutters.
• Insulate connections by sleeve over wire ends.
• Crimp terminals and lugs to wire ends using hand or machine tools.
• Route and attach wire to terminals per layout with soldering iron.
• Connect wiring to accessories and install assemblies using tools.
• Pot or encapsulate components and assemblies.
• Follow corrective action procedures and seek supervisor guidance when defects occur.
• Adhere to assembly, fabrication, equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Foster positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and coworkers.

Job Description

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for an Electronics Assembler.
Position Type: Full Time Contract
Duration: 3+ months
Location: Bristol, PA, 19007
Shift: (9/80 Schedule) 6:30 AM -7 AM Start

• Responsible for assembling and handling products, equipment and materials per engineering and company's quality system procedures.
• Perform program specific tasks as required to ensure compliance to individual program requirements.
• Assemble printed wiring boards from engineering drawings and sketches using surface mount hardware, soldering irons and microscope.
• Cut wire to specified lengths, using wire cutters.
• Cut plastic sleeves and slip sleeves over wire ends to insulate connections.
• Crimp terminal eyelets and lugs to wire ends, using hand or machine crimping device.
• Route, comb, twist, wrap, tie and attach wire to terminal points, according to layout, using soldering iron and hand tools.
• Connect wiring to accessories, such as connectors, plugs and switches and install accessory assemblies in electrical or electronic units, using soldering iron and hand tools.
• Pot or encapsulate electrical and electronic components and assemblies.
• Follow company procedures for corrective action. Notify Production supervisor if a defect is identified to obtain guidance and assistance in resolving the problem.
• Responsible for following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, equipment operation and sound safety requirements as documented in the company's quality system.
• Promote cordial relationships and foster and maintain a favorable business profile with customers, suppliers, co-workers, industry and professional associations, government agencies and the local community.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Certified IPC Specialist J-STD-001 (IPC-610)
• Certified IPC Specialist 7711/7721
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum of 2 years of work-related experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $26 to $28/per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
