Job summary

OSI Industries, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a production supervisor to direct station work assignments, ensure safety and quality, and optimize manufacturing efficiency. The role requires hands-on leadership, training, and adherence to GMP.

You will set up and inspect equipment, monitor performance, maintain records, and support the team to meet production goals while handling pre-op checks and problem resolution. Competitive benefits accompany the hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PDF).
• Familiarity with manufacturing operating systems and SAP.
• At least 1 year of on-the-job experience with process flow, quality, efficiency, safety and organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assigns employees to workstations and tasks as needed.
• Familiar with department equipment and performs setup, adjustments and inspections.
• Trains employees, checks work quality and corrects performance.
• Supports safety, quality and production goals with the Supervisor.
• Performs pre-op and in-run checks as scheduled.
• Locates supplies, checks codes, and helps optimize production runs.
• Diagnoses production problems and initiates corrective action.
• Completes reports and maintains production records.
• Keeps work area clean and GMP-compliant.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
