OSI Group is seeking a Production Operations Manager to oversee facility-level production, ensuring quality, safety, efficiency, and customer alignment. You will lead a team, set objectives, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across departments.

The role requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Formación

• 5-10 years of experience in an operations type position is preferred.
• Supervising and managing departments and individuals in a food processing environment is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time using effective organizational skills and judgment in an environment of frequently changing circumstances.
• Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a production team and hire/performance-manage the team.
• Lead 1-5 direct employees and 50-60 indirect.
• Establish production department objectives in quality, safety, productivity, and cost.
• Develop methods to monitor and measure department activity to identify areas of improvement and profitability.
• Provide reporting managers with information, training, direction, and resources to achieve objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, HACCP, and related policies and laws.
• Participate in development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, products, and systems.
• Work with customers during presentations, tours, and reviews with expertise in production operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures.
