Blueshift is seeking a Staff Accountant to support monthly close, reconciliations, and journal entries while handling payroll, accounts payable, and cost accounting within a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 2–5 years of experience, and strong GAAP knowledge and Excel skills. ERP experience (Sage X3) and ADP payroll familiarity are valued, with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
• Experience with ERP systems; Sage X3 experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post routine journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare and maintain prepaid expense and accrual schedules.
• Support inventory and cost accounting activities, including account analysis and month-end reconciliations.
• Support monthly and year-end close activities and help ensure established deadlines are met.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and supporting schedules.
• Review vendor invoices and manage accounts payable activities.
• Administer payroll processing and related records (ADP).
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
