Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial reporting, month-end close, and general accounting operations. You will partner with internal teams to ensure accurate records, compliance, and strong financial controls.

Key duties include preparing financial statements, month-end close, GL maintenance, and supporting tax compliance, audits, and budgets. You will also manage fixed assets, intercompany activities, and payroll reviews while mentoring accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing or corporate preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger, bank, inventory, intercompany, and cash reconciliations.
• Support tax compliance, audits, and budget preparation.
• Manage fixed assets, lease accounting, and payroll reviews.
• Maintain ERP master data and support system updates.
• Provide guidance to accounting support staff.
