Job summary

Labor Solutions, LLC is seeking a Safety Specialist to promote a safe and compliant work environment across our manufacturing operations. This hands-on role serves as a safety resource, providing guidance, training, and support on workplace safety, incident reporting, investigations, and hazard prevention.

The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years of safety experience in industrial settings, working knowledge of OSHA standards, and strong communication skills to engage all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, machining, or industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, or training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily/weekly safety inspections on the manufacturing floor.
• Assist with incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action follow‑up.
• Conduct OSHA compliance, including recordkeeping, reporting, and documentation.
• Deliver safety training (PPE, lockout/tagout, forklift, hazard communication, machine guarding, etc.).
• Assist with emergency response planning, evacuation drills, and first‑aid readiness.
• Track and report safety metrics, near misses, and audit findings.
• Conduct work related injury investigations.
• Conduct workers’ compensation reporting and return‑to‑work coordination.
• Participate in safety committee meetings and employee engagement initiatives.
• Identify hazards, recommend improvements, and help drive a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with supervisors to reinforce safe work practices and address unsafe behaviors.
