Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Pontiac, MI seeks a Safety Supervisor to promote a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment across office and manufacturing areas.

You will develop, implement, and improve safety programs, ensure MIOSHA/OSHA/EPA compliance, conduct inspections, investigations, and training, and manage worker’s comp and records. This is a full-time, exempt role that reports to the Safety Manager in Houston, TX and emphasizes continuous safety improvements and emergency

Qualifications

• Experience as Safety Supervisor, Safety Coordinator, or similar role in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and safety regulations.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling, storage, and disposal.
• Experience developing safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to conduct incident investigations and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety programs in line with laws and regulations.
• Promote safety culture through training and incident prevention.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and operations to identify unsafe conditions.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Manage workers' compensation cases and return-to-work programs.
• Maintain safety records and regulatory reports.
