Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead day-to-day EHS compliance, training, hazard identification, and action planning in a manufacturing environment.

You will partner with plant leadership, production, maintenance, and staff to embed safety into daily operations and drive continuous improvement. This role reports to the VP of Human Resources, supports multiple facilities, and requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of EHS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of three years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigations.
• Ability to partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve EHS objectives.
• Experience supporting machine safeguarding, lockout/tagout, ergonomics, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day EHS compliance, training, hazard identification, and corrective actions.
• Partner with plant leadership, production, and maintenance to integrate EHS into operations.
• Support safety programs, audits, and regulatory reporting across facilities.
• Drive continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture.
• Coordinate EHS responses for customer audits and contractor management portals.
