Job summary

Great Dane seeks a Quality Manager to own the Quality system at the plant, reporting to Plant Manager and Corporate Director of Quality. You will drive governance through quality gates, KPIs, and data-driven improvements.

You will develop and implement quality management program, collaborate with leadership, lead inspection/testing, and support Lean manufacturing goals while ensuring cost control and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in CI and/or advanced quality systems leadership; 2+ years in manufacturing.
• Quality certifications such as ASQ CQE/CQM preferred.
• Experience with ISO/TS16949, KPI management, and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the plant quality system and governance with quality gates and KPI performance.
• Develop and implement quality management programs across QA and QC.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing goals.
• Direct inspection/testing and manage corrective/preventive actions.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and production to ensure quality.
• Support customer concerns, design reviews, and manufacturability decisions.
• Promote training and ensure compliance with quality system requirements.
