Job summary

Ford is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering leader to drive the development and implementation of new product, process, tooling, facilities, and equipment for vehicle program launches. You will supervise engineers, develop scope of work, and collaborate across product development, plant operations, and supplier partners to ensure timely, high-quality launches.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing, strong project management, and a hands-on, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher.
• 5+ years direct experience with manufacturing (Plant Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, etc).
• Self-motivated, organized, curious, hands-on and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to develop and implement new product, process, tooling, facilities, and equipment for launches.
• Collaborate with product development, plant, and skill teams to deliver programs.
• Develop scope of work including operations sequences, FMEA, equipment design, and launch implementation.
• Lead supplier partnerships to deliver manufacturing solutions.
• Mentor employees and establish technical standards.
• Travel up to 90% during active launch phases within North America.
