Job summary

Ford is seeking a diligent Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and launch of new vehicle programs. You will lead manufacturing engineering efforts, implement tooling and facilities changes, and coordinate across plant sites in the US, Canada, and Mexico to meet launch timelines.

The role emphasizes process improvement, CPS/GPDS milestones, and collaboration with PD, STA, MP&L, NMP, and MTDC teams. Travel to plants is required during launches.

Qualifications

• BSc in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of Automotive Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• 2+ years of CAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program through Ok to Buy + 45 days.
• Implement new or modified tooling and facilities based on product and process changes.
• Lead manufacturing assembly builds in North American plants (Canada, Mexico & US).
• Identify and drive resolution of manufacturing-related issues.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams (PD, STA, MP&L, NMP, MTDC, etc.).
• Write and maintain process sheets after Final Design Judgement.
