Job summary

Ford Motor Company’s Ohio Assembly Plant seeks a launch-focused engineer to deliver new model launches on time, on cost, and at target quality across cross-functional teams. You will manage launch parts, processes, and communicate program changes with the plant launch team.

The role requires an engineering degree, 2–3 years automotive experience, willingness to travel domestically and internationally, and strong communication with MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years automotive experience required.
• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new model vehicle launches at Ohio Assembly Plant on time, on cost, and at targeted quality.
• Manage the launch parts and processes, including OTG parts list and BOM reviews.
• Communicate program changes and prepare the plant launch team.
• Participate in builds and verify parts are present for each program.
• Attend pre-production builds and document issues in the system.
