Ford Motor Company is seeking a VOME Manufacturing Engineer to provide leadership across new-model launches. You will help implement tooling, processes, control plans, and documentation while supporting and improving performance of existing plant equipment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1+ years in automotive manufacturing engineering, with experience in tooling, processes, and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• At least 1+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing engineering.
• At least 1+ years of experience with automotive assembly tooling, processes, and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering for new-model launches and support existing plant equipment.
• Develop tooling, processes, control plans, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost estimates and improve quality.
• Evaluate manufacturability and ensure designs meet manufacturing standards.
• Create and maintain process sheets and updated layouts as processes evolve.
• Lead resolution of feasibility issues and ensure lessons learned are applied.
