Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Development Engineer II for the Tucson, AZ site. The role involves supporting the program from early development through transition to production with emphasis on manufacturing capabilities, product technologies, and factory requirements. Onsite position requiring ability to obtain interim security clearance.

The candidate will develop MDs, review designs for manufacturability, and drive improvements across the value stream with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing production and process development or improvement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages including assembly instructions, workflows, and labor standards.
• Review engineering designs and translate requirements into manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate to translate design requirements into producible manufacturing steps.
• Contribute to solving constraints across the extended value stream.
