Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Manufacturing Development Engineer II for Tucson, AZ. You will provide technical manufacturing support from development through production, helping establish the manufacturing plan and influence decisions to improve the value stream.

Requirements: a STEM degree with at least 2 years in manufacturing, experience in process development, and the ability to obtain interim and final security clearances.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with at least 2 years in manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing production and process development.
• Ability to obtain interim and final security clearances.
• Experience working on programs requiring sensitive material access.

Responsibilities

• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages and assembly instructions.
• Translate engineering designs into manufacturable processes.
• Assist with review of designs and changes for producibility.
• Collaborate across the extended value stream to resolve constraints.
