RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Development Engineer II for our Tucson, AZ site. You will support programs from early development through production transition, using expertise in manufacturing capabilities and product technologies.

You will help establish and execute manufacturing plans, influence program decisions, and ensure factory readiness to improve producibility and cost efficiency. This onsite role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience working in manufacturing production.
• Experience with manufacturing process development or improvement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required clearances (ATF, interim Secret clearance).
• Ability to obtain interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.

Responsabilidades

• Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow and labor standards.
• Review engineering designs and translate into manufacturing processes.
• Translate engineering requirements into manufacturing processes.
• Apply manufacturing engineering skills across the value stream to resolve constraints and improve designs.
• Provide input on producibility and cost/quality objectives.
• Identify and resolve constraints across the program and participate in corrective action investigations.
