Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience; Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular, structured process audits on the manufacturing floor to verify that personnel are following documented SOPs and work instructions; observe and evaluate processes and flag deviations.
• Identify process gaps and systemic deficiencies through audit findings and data analysis; apply 5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, and 8D methodologies to determine root causes; collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective actions.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented actions through follow-up audits and performance metrics.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives on the plant floor; contribute to SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
