Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
• 0-2 years of relevant experience; Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn and drive change by identifying issues on a production floor. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular, structured process audits on the manufacturing floor to verify SOPs and work instructions, observing deviations and non-conformances
• Identify process gaps and root causes using methods like 5-Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, 8D; collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to develop corrective actions
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives; help revise SOPs and training materials
