Job summary
Graham Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the plant's maintenance staff, ensure safe and efficient operation of production equipment, and support the Preventative Maintenance Program. This role involves coordinating with management, directing daily assignments, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or related maintenance experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role in manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or related maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and related maintenance experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in an operations or maintenance supervisory or management role in manufacturing with leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Distribute daily assignments to maintenance staff per manager priorities.
- Respond to emergencies and adjust assignments as needed.
- Advise Maintenance Manager on progress and issues.
- Oversee Preventative Maintenance program execution and improvements.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical deficiencies; implement corrective actions.
- Order parts and manage inventory within approved guidelines.
- Maintain records for repair histories and company property.
