Job summary

International Motors USA seeks a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor for the Main Paint Center in our San Antonio plant. Lead up to 50 hourly employees, drive safety, quality, and productivity while building a high-performing culture for Class 6-8 trucks and EVs.

The role involves shift transitions to night production mid-2027 and requires flexibility to support extended hours and weekend work as needed. Strong people development and Lean experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Master's degree and at least 1 year of production/manufacturing experience.
• At least 5 years of production/manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture and drive continuous safety improvements across the department
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of up to 50 hourly employees to achieve their full potential
• Drive quality, productivity, and operational performance to meet and exceed business goals
• Manage staffing and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to solve problems and improve processes
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard work instructions and operating procedures
• Foster employee engagement and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the team
• Lead problem-solving efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and sustained
