Job summary

International Motors, LLC in San Antonio seeks a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead the Main Paint Center within the Body and Paint Department. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while developing a high-performing hourly team of up to 50 associates.

The role requires collaboration across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production and includes planning for a mid-2027 ramp to a new night shift. You will support a shift-agnostic schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in manufacturing or related field with at least 2 years of production experience (or 5+ years with no degree).
• OR Master’s degree with at least 1 year of production experience
• OR At least 5 years of production/manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture and drive continuous safety improvements across the department
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of up to 50 hourly employees to achieve their full potential
• Drive quality, productivity, and operational performance to meet and exceed business goals
• Manage staffing and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to solve problems and improve processes
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard work instructions and operating procedures
• Foster employee engagement and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the team
• Lead problem-solving efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and sustained
