Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an experienced Manufacturing Operations Project Manager (OPM) to lead production execution for Business Unit programs in Baltimore, MD. The role involves managing cost and schedule performance, coordinating with program management, engineering, and suppliers, and driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP/MRP, proven leadership of cross-functional teams, and the ability to develop action plans

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in Manufacturing/Engineering/Production or related roles, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
3+ years of experience leading and/or managing people and/or projects.
Experience with SAP and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
Control Account Management experience.

Responsibilities

Manage production execution for Business Unit programs.
Oversee Manufacturing cost and schedule performance.
Serve as Manufacturing lead for all proposals in the Business Unit.
Create and lead teams to resolve issues impacting Manufacturing execution.
Report Manufacturing Operations status to Program Manager and leadership.
Ensure Manufacturing has needed resources and allocate them accordingly.
Mentor and develop direct reports; provide strategic leadership to meet objectives.
