Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Production Engineering Manager 2 onsite in Baltimore, MD. You will lead a team of engineers, manage design updates, and coordinate with cross-functional partners to meet program milestones.

The role includes staffing plans, performance evaluation, and process improvements while supporting the transition to Mission PLM and related processes. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 9 years of relevant experience, OR a master’s in STEM with 7 years, OR a PhD in STEM with 4 years of relevant experience
• US Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance (or higher)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical or project leadership
• Minimum 2 years of experience with cross organizational collaboration

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team of 10–15 engineers and coordinate with Hardware Engineering leadership
• Develop staffing plans, evaluate performance, and plan career development
• Ensure timely drawing release, design updates, and manufacturing support across programs
• Support transition to Mission PLM system and related processes
• Contribute to proposals and program support activities
