Job summary

Amgen in Columbus-area Ohio is seeking a Manager of Manufacturing to lead a 12-hour PM production shift in an Inspection and Packaging facility. You will supervise staff, ensure cGMP compliance, and drive production schedules in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Key qualifications include a doctorate or equivalent leadership experience in pharma/biotech, strong project management and regulatory skills, and the ability to partner with QA, Regulatory, and FDA as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with leadership experience in pharma/biotech.
• Experience managing people and leading teams or projects in pharma/biotech.
• Knowledge of cGMP/Regulatory requirements in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all aspects of a manufacturing area in an Inspection and Packaging facility with cGMP compliance.
• Hire, train, evaluate staff and ensure production schedules are completed.
• Coordinate development and revision of SOPs and change controls; interact with FDA as needed.
• Oversee safety, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with QA/QC, PPIC, Reg, Regulatory.
