Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Night Senior Manager Manufacturing – Night Operations Performance & Integration to lead the night-shift operating system, coordinating across Commercial Operations and C&Q coverage. You will ensure cross-functional resources are engaged, issues escalated, and manufacturing performance is actively managed across the shift.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years in GMP manufacturing, process development, or related manufacturing operations.
• Master’s degree and 6 years in GMP manufacturing, process development, or related manufacturing operations.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years in GMP manufacturing, process development, or related manufacturing operations.
• Associate’s degree and 10 years in GMP manufacturing, process development, or related manufacturing operations.
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years in GMP manufacturing, process development, or related manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior Manufacturing integration point across night-shift operations during significant operational events.
• Establish and sustain the night-shift Tier structure, operating cadence, escalation model, and performance-management routines.
• Coordinate Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Automation, Maintenance, Supply Chain/Warehouse, and other site resources.
• Drive escalation of significant resource constraints, technical barriers, competing priorities, or unresolved operational issues to leadership.
• Monitor night-shift Manufacturing performance across lines, downtime, OEE, schedule attainment, and chronic losses.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute improvement opportunities across off-shift (5S, visual management, standard work).
• Provide coaching and leadership to Front Line Managers during complex events.
