Job summary

Amgen in New Albany, OH is seeking a Night Senior Manager Manufacturing – Night Operations Performance & Integration to lead the night-shift operating system and ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operations across production lines.

This role partners with Engineering, QA, Automation, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to drive escalation, improve OEE, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. A proven GMP manufacturing leader is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects or programs.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams.
• Strong GMP manufacturing/process development background.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior Manufacturing integration point across night-shift operations during major events.
• Establish night-shift tier structure, cadence, escalation model, and performance routines.
• Coordinate Manufacturing, QA, Engineering, Automation, Maintenance, and Supply Chain resources.
• Escalate resource constraints and barriers to site or functional leadership.
• Monitor night-shift performance: downtime, OEE, schedule attainment, losses.
• Drive continuous improvement across off-shift activities (5S, visual management, standard work).
• Provide coaching to Front Line Managers during complex events.
