Job summary

Jabil in South Carolina is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate the production, machinery, processing, and packaging departments across the site.

You will recruit and develop frontline managers, drive performance against key metrics, govern cost management and process improvements, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, and five years experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and hire Assistant Manufacturing Managers, Line Managers, and MITs.
• Coach managers in interviewing and hiring processes.
• Monitor team turnover and implement improvements.
• Develop training curricula and mentorship for managers and teams.
• Drive performance management and objective setting for staff.
• Coordinate large teams and ensure safety and quality across shifts.
