Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive manufacturing/supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of budgeting process and financial management tools.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe manufacture of products adhering to safety policies and government requirements.
• Provide leadership for development and implementation of systems to improve quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate production with schedules to meet customer requirements and manage labor flow.
• Develop, train, coach, and involve employees in improving efficiency, productivity, and morale.
• Conduct performance appraisals and drive a pay-for-performance culture.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit and hire qualified candidates.
• Ensure adherence to process control procedures and quality instructions.
• Direct and coordinate activities to maximize productivity and minimize cost while achieving targets.
• Review daily/weekly labor and equipment needs to meet throughput goals.
