Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Production Supervisor to safely lead production operations across multiple shifts, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. You will hire, train, discipline, and conduct performance reviews while driving 6S and process improvements.

You will coach the team to meet metrics, manage costs, and resolve operational issues, with relocation available and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

Experience supervising production operations and teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Willing to work off-shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Safely manufacture quality products meeting specifications and delivery commitments.
Lead 6S daily and maintain housekeeping excellence in the department.
Enforce safety rules and Cardinal Rules of Safety for all employees.
Keep SOPs and engineering procedures current and followed.
Schedule employees to meet production needs and vacations per plant policy.
Coach staff to meet or exceed daily product metrics and goals.
Ensure adherence to process controls, instructions and quality checks.
Monitor costs, throughput, and production metrics daily/weekly/monthly.
Communicate production needs and plant updates to the team.
