Precision Castparts is seeking a Production Supervisor to safely manufacture quality products, meeting customer specifications and delivery commitments. You will supervise multiple functions and shifts, enforce safety, quality, 6S, and process requirements, and participate in hiring, training, discipline, and performance reviews.

You will schedule staff, coach line personnel to hit daily metrics, oversee cost, WIP, and throughput, and contribute input on equipment design for new processes while

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering (or related).
• Minimum 3 years of industrial supervisory or similar leadership experience.
• Prefer 3+ years of manufacturing operations experience.
• Extensive training in manufacturing processes, supervision, and operations management.

Responsabilidades

• Safely manufacture a quality product while meeting customer specifications and delivery commitments.
• Practice 6S daily and maintain housekeeping excellence in the department.
• Ensure safety requirements including Cardinal Rules of Safety are followed at all times.
• Ensure SOPs and engineering procedures are current and followed.
• Schedule employees to meet production needs and vacation/time off per plant policies.
• Provide supervision and coaching to department employees to meet or exceed daily product metrics and goals.
• Manage quality, cost of production, work-in-process levels, and throughput.
• Provide input on the design and installation of equipment for new manufacturing processes.
• Resolve technical and personnel problems in a positive manner.
• Maintain and enhance a team environment and motivate the production workforce.
• Troubleshoot and provide cost-effective resolutions to production problems.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all production processes and materials.
