Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking candidates for its Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) designed to prepare engineers for technical or leadership roles within its U.S. manufacturing facilities.

The program spans 24 to 30 months with rotations in Technical, TPM and Operations, plus a cross-functional assignment at the end of training. Upon completion, participants may be placed as Manufacturing Engineer or Technical Leader at North American plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Prior internships/co-ops in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Demonstrated leadership in teams or organizations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and analyze information to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Investigate bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Apply technical expertise to improve processes, products and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Develop leadership and communication skills in a pragmatic setting.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical/ electrical/ industrial/ chemical, or related)
