Job summary

Owens Corning’s Maintenance Manufacturing Leadership Program is a 24 to 30 month rotational career track designed to train engineers in both technical and leadership roles at US manufacturing plants.

Participants will rotate through Maintenance Planning, Maintenance Leadership, Reliability Engineering, and Capital Project Management, supported by experienced mentors to develop skills in efficiency, safety, and asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field or materials science (or equivalent).
• Internships/co-ops in glass melting/furnace manufacturing are preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in professional or service organizations.

Responsibilities

• Engage in preventive maintenance programs and procedures for plant equipment.
• Investigate and resolve in-process problems.
• Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and meet standards.
• Emphasize safety, automation, digitalization, and data analytics.
• Develop skills in safety leadership, project engineering, reliability, and supervision.
