Job summary

Owens Corning invites candidates to join its Maintenance Manufacturing Leadership Program, a 24–30 month rotational track designed to develop technical and leadership capabilities at a US manufacturing plant.

Participants rotate through Maintenance Planning, Leadership, Reliability Engineering, and Capital Project Management, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship to prepare for a Maintenance Supervisor/Leader role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or relevant field.
Internships/co-ops within a glass melting/furnace manufacturing setting.
Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations.
Willingness and flexibility to relocate (assistance provided).

Responsibilities

Engage in preventative maintenance programs and procedures for plant equipment.
Investigate and resolve work in process problems.
Maintain production equipment to meet organizational standards and minimize downtime.
Focus on safety, automation, digitalization, strategic asset management, and data analytics.
Develop skills in safety leadership, project engineering, reliability processes, maintenance planning, and supervisory leadership.
Recommend and implement improvements for operations, equipment, and documentation.
Utilize ERP systems and TPM methodologies.
