Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking participants for its Maintenance Manufacturing Leadership Program, a 24–to-30‑month rotational opportunity designed to build technical and leadership capabilities in a manufacturing setting. Participants rotate through Maintenance Planning, Leadership, Reliability Engineering, and Capital Project Management across North American plants.

You will gain mentoring from experienced engineers, work on safety, asset management, and data analytics, and upon completion transition

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Ceramic, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or relevant major.
Internships/co-ops within a glass melting/furnace manufacturing setting.
Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations.
Willingness and flexibility to relocate (assistance provided).

Responsibilities

Engage in preventative maintenance programs and procedures for plant equipment.
Investigate and resolve work in process problems.
Maintain production equipment to meet organizational standards and minimize downtime.
Focus on safety, automation, digitalization, strategic asset management, and data analytics.
Develop skills in safety leadership, project engineering, reliability processes, maintenance planning, and supervisory leadership.
Recommend and implement improvements for operations, equipment, and documentation.
Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Total Productive Maintenance methodologies.
