800flowerscareers is seeking a Manufacturing Lead in Bolingbrook, IL to coordinate daily production, drive quality, and support associates on the floor. This hands‑on role ensures safety and efficiency while aligning with customer specifications.

The position requires 1+ year of manufacturing experience, strong communication, and the ability to train and guide teams. Shift is 1st, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to train, guide, and provide direction to team members.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Basic computer and office software proficiency.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, guide, and motivate associates to support daily productivity and performance expectations
• Demonstrate job instructions and proper processes to new and temporary team members
• Evaluate incoming orders and help organize production workflow accordingly
• Coordinate and delegate tasks within assigned production areas
• Communicate department priorities, workflow updates, and operational needs to team members
• Collaborate and communicate effectively within the department and with other departments throughout the organization
• Reassign or regroup associates within assigned areas to maximize individual strengths and support production needs
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members
• Identify production line problems and report or assist in resolving issues promptly
• Help maintain product quality and ensure customer specifications are followed
• Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and high-performance expectations
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and fully operational work environment
• Provide coverage and additional leadership support when needed
