You will support the Department Supervisor, oversee daily operations, ensure quality and timely completion of orders, and help maintain a safe, productive work environment.

You will lead training, monitor workflow, assign staffing, operate department equipment, identify safety concerns, and push for productivity improvements while promoting teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily department efficiency using reports and production data.
• Track order backlog and prioritize express orders during shift.
• Distribute materials to lines and staff for production flow.
• Guide staff to achieve productivity and output targets.
• Assist with staffing and daily workflow coordination.
• Support training of new and existing team members.
• Operate department equipment as required and ensure proper settings.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and diagnose basic issues.
• Report safety, quality, or policy concerns to supervisor.
• Suggest improvements to boost productivity and workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
• Promote teamwork, reliability, and high performance.
• Demonstrate punctuality and accountability; reinforce expectations.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
