Job summary

CHEP is looking for a Shift Lead in Bolingbrook, Illinois to oversee plant operations, support production staff, and ensure compliance with policies. The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience in manufacturing and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include leading a team of 18 employees, meeting production goals, and enforcing safety standards. We offer a competitive pay range of $25.00 - $28.00 hourly with benefits starting on day one, including 401K and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as supervisor or operations lead in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of all production employees, monitoring production and shipping schedules.
• Provide hands-on leadership and support to production staff.
• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Enforce inventory accuracy policies.
• Fill in for Operations Supervisor as needed.
