Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. is seeking a Manufacturing Lead - Line to guide a production team, ensure quality, and meet customer specs while driving efficiency on the line. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating tasks, training new hires, and stepping in for supervisors as needed.

The position offers a 1st shift (5:00 AM–1:30 PM; potential 7:00 AM–3:30 PM for closing/receiving hours) with peak schedule variation, and a focus on safe, tidy operations and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, guide, and motivate staff to perform at their best.
• Demonstrate job instructions to new and temporary staff, adhering to departmental expectations when not performing these duties.
• Evaluate incoming orders and set up the production line accordingly.
• Collaborate and communicate within the department, extending communication to multiple departments within the organization.
• Foster an environment of positive morale and high-performance expectations.
• Regroup associates within assigned areas to maximize team members' strengths.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members.
• Identify and report/resolve production line problems promptly.
• Maintain a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
