Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Deskside Support Engineer in Danvers, MA to provide hands-on IT support for manufacturing and lab environments. You will troubleshoot AV and IT devices, manage printers, and coordinate asset lifecycle activities on site.

The role requires familiarity with GMP/GxP and clean room environments, strong cross-team communication, and the ability to work with vendors to keep systems running smoothly and securely.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing/lab IT systems and devices.
• Familiar with GMP/GxP environments and clean room settings.
• Able to troubleshoot IT devices, AV gear, printers and network issues.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on deskside support for technology team on demand.
• Maintain site IT assets, lifecycle, imaging, labeling and updates.
• Ensure LAN/Wi‑Fi/printer connectivity and device availability on site.
• Coordinate power-downs and maintenance with data center teams.
• Assist in rack/stack and deployment/decommissioning of infra devices.
