American Iron & Metal is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the employee lifecycle, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations across multiple sites. The role partners with leadership to manage compliance, HR administration, reporting, and engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be organized, discreet, and capable of handling confidential information in a fast-paced, on-site environment with occasional travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• HR certifications (SHRM-CP/PHR) or progress toward certification is an asset.
• 3–5 years of Human Resources experience in a multi-site environment preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, logistics, recycling, or similar settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws; proficient with HRIS (Dayforce preferred).

Responsabilités

• Support recruitment activities, onboarding, and new hire orientation with timely, accurate documentation.
• Serve as primary HR contact for assigned locations; assist with employee relations and investigations.
• Maintain HR records, compliance documents, and HRIS data with confidentiality.
• Coordinate HR programs: evaluations, compensation, open enrollment, and recognition.
• Prepare HR dashboards, headcount reports, turnover, and training metrics for leadership.
• Support cross-functional teams (Payroll, Benefits, Safety, Finance, Operations).
• Assist with I-9, E-Verify, background checks, and pre-employment requirements; ensure policy compliance.
• Support training initiatives and development programs across sites.
• Travel between company locations as needed and work on-site in production environments.
