Ultimate Staffing seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee HR for three related companies, reporting to the COO. You will handle payroll, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, staffing coordination, and employee relations in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires an approachable, well‑rounded HR professional who can train during transition and implement compliant HR practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of HR Manager experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong payroll, benefits, employee relations, workers' compensation and HR compliance knowledge.
• Experience with OSHA requirements and workplace safety programs.
• Experience managing investigations, discipline, and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll and HR administration using Paychex and maintain confidential HR records.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, attendance, leave, and wage verifications.
• Administer employee benefits programs and coordinate annual open enrollment.
• Lead staffing relationships with temp agencies and outside recruiting partners.
• Act as primary HR contact for employees and management and handle investigations.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local employment laws and maintain HR policies.
• Support compensation benchmarking and annual performance review process.
• Drive HR process improvements and maintain HR documentation and reporting.
