Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking an HR Manager in Manufacturing to support the local HR department at our Indiana plant. You will ensure regulatory compliance, lead recruitment, and oversee performance appraisals while fostering a positive work environment.

A strong emphasis on on-site presence and daily collaboration with plant leadership will drive continuous improvement. The role requires 7 years of HR experience in manufacturing, with FMLA/WC knowledge and experience leading investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business administration, human resources or related field is required.
• MBA and PHR certification are preferred.
• 7 years of HR experience in manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, workers' compensation, ADA, COBRA and EEOC.
• Proven ability to lead investigations and manage labor/employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state HR laws across all plant locations.
• Lead recruitment and performance management processes to support business needs.
• Conduct FLSA and HR audits; manage investigations into complaints or policy violations.
• Provide monthly HR metrics updates and support budgeting processes.
• Spend ~30% of time on the production floor engaging with employees.
