Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of progressive human resources experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Strong background in employee engagement, employee relations, and performance management.
• Demonstrated experience improving HR processes, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to partner effectively with leadership and influence positive organizational change.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
• Hands-on, approachable leadership style with the ability to build trust across all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring consistent and effective HR practices throughout the organization.
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that strengthen workplace culture, improve morale, and support employee retention.
• Partner with leadership and department managers to address employee relations matters, resolve workplace concerns, and promote a positive work environment.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, procedures, and systems to increase efficiency and consistency.
• Lead performance management, employee development, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance issues, and workforce management.
• Oversee recruiting and talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain qualified manufacturing talent.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning initiatives.
• Analyze HR metrics, employee feedback, and turnover trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leadership, promoting open communication, accountability, and collaboration.
